Welcome to Shoreline Creations!

Welcome to SHORELINE CREATIONS! My name is Steve Hall and I want to "Thank you" for visiting our website today! I have been in the landscape industry for over 35 years. Many of those years were spent overseeing the care of commercial and residential landscapes. My areas of responsibility to these landscapes have included the care and maintenance of irrigation systems, flower beds, trees, shrubs and turf areas along with designing and installing new landscape areas. In 2006 I took on a new challenge and started Shoreline Creations. At Shoreline Creations we offer traditional landscape services along with our main focus, Shoreline Restoration. Being an active outdoor enthusiast, living in northern Minnesota, I have seen many problems caused from improperly developed shoreline properties. Shoreline erosion, declining water quality and loss of wildlife habitat are just a few of the issues that come with over development of lakeshore properties. If you are experiencing problems with your shoreline give us a call, we can help you to determine what is the best coarse of action for your property. I'm an active member of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association.Steve Hall Shorline Creations

About Buffer Zones

A word about Buffer Zones!!! Roughly defined a buffer zone is an area of plants (native trees, shrubs, forbs and grasses) that are allowed to grow between a water body and adjacent developed land. Buffer zones provide wildlife habitat, stabilize the shoreline, filter polutants and nutrients, trap sediments and will discourage nuisance wildlife (Canada Geese) from coming on your property. Buffer zones do not reduce your ability for recreational use of your property nor do they limit your view. Buffer zones are one of the most important things that each of us can do for the protection of our shoreline and our water body. For more information please see our Buffer Zone page!
